Frequently Asked Question (FAQs)
- because you ask, we answer!

Chunky&Drizzle
Why do you guys take such a long time to reply enquiries? I need an answer ASAP…!
Answer: Both of the blog owners are student and working adult respectively, our schedules can be very packed that we don’t see each other for almost 2 weeks straight. But we will definitely do our best to reply as soon as possible with the best answers we can give.

Kindly cooperate with us by not giving us last minute enquiries (like a few days before the end of spree order) about wigs/bags as we do need to settle our accounts and have them sent overseas for clearance once batch order ends. You can also try surfing around the Jbwig site to have a look for the best wig suited for your character.

I can’t read Chinese, any help?
Answer: Of course. Just drop us an email for the look/type of wig you are looking for, we will drop you the recommended link and the price of the wig in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Payments
How can I make payments for my items?
Either meetups for cash payment or bank transfer/internet banking. Do take note that we meet only along certain areas in the town and along some of the North-East Line (NEL).

When can I make payments for my items?
Payments both in cash and bank transfer has to be done within 2 days after confirmation of your items.

We have seen cases of customers going M.I.A. a.k.a. Missing-In-Action after confirming their orders with us. Not only that, they had the courtesy of replying us barely one month before they need their things URGENTLY.

Please note both Chunky & Drizzle are busy with work and school, so do have the respect to inform us beforehand should you be not able to reply us ASAP via email. We also have a wig delivery schedule to adhere to.

Quota
Hey, do you guys have like a minimum amount of orders you need to hit?
Answer: Yes, we do. A usual quota of 10 orders must be made before it can be sent it, if not during the end of the wig batch order.

Wig Questions
How long does it usually take for a wig to arrive? Why does it seem to take so long?
Answer: An average of 2 weeks for arrival in Singapore. But do take note that it takes about 2 months for spree orders to be closed and processed for shipment.

Do you guys have Express Orders?
Answer: If interested, kindly drop us an email at chunky.drizzle@gmail.com for Express Order services.

What is included if I buy a wig from you guys?
The wigs will be packed in a box along with a wig net and a user guide in Traditional Chinese.

If I would like a particular wig customised with another colour on, is it possible?
Example: Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier – Blond-pink/Strawberry-pink range
Answer: We do not colour-mixing service but we have fellow wig sellers’ contact on hand for referral of such services.

Do you guys do styling?
Answer: No, we do not provide styling services. But if you are really in need of such services there are people that we know of providing such services at a minimal cost.

Are there any hair products that can be used on this particular brand of wigs?
Answer: Yes. Wax, hair spray, hair cologne, clay, hair gel can be used on the wigs.

Where are your wigs from?
Answer: Taiwan - Taipei. This particular brand of wigs is one of the most popular choice for cosplayers to get their wigs from. Over in Taiwan wigs have more control in quality compared to those made in other countries, thus the price difference when being compared.

How do you actually maintain a wig?
Answer:
Use brushes instead of flat-tooth combs to maintain the wigs. The heat produced from flat-tooth combs causes the wig fibres to stick together thus causing tangle and messy wigs.

No flat-tooth combs but need a quick brush?
Use your fingers to gently run through the wig, do not tug and pull the wig though.

Cold treatment only: As the wig fibres get spoils easily when in contact with high heat, do use cold water when you are washing the wigs and cold dry them if possible.

Use wig curlers for wigs when kept in storage.

Do not use flattening irons to straighten the wigs, unless stated if it is a heat-resistant wig.

How do you wash a wig?
Soak your wig in a basin of soap water, consisting of about 5 –10cc of shampoo liquid/wig shampoo, for about 10 to 20 minutes. (We do recommend you to get JB Wig’s Shampoo)
Drain the soap water away.
Let running water remove the soap residue in the direction of the wig strands
After washing, pat dry the wig on a dry towel.
Leave the wig to air dry or use cold hair-dryer for fast result.
Optional: When it is dried, spray wig conditioner about 20-30cm away from the wig.

Refunds
Chunky&Drizzle, I just realised the wig I have gotten is the wrong design/color/length, can I do an exchange/refund?
Answer: I’m sorry, but exchange/refunds are not allowed. We advise our customers to select the best wig that suits them before shipping arrives from Taiwan. We order wigs on a order-by-order basis, which means what you want, we order. We apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Others
What are the other services you provide on this blogshop?
Answer: None at the moment.

Do you do blogshop linking to other blogshops?
Answer: Yes we do, especially if you are a fellow cosplayer/blogshop owners selling items like wigs, costumes, accessories, props, subculture clothings etc, etc. Kindly drop us an email at
chunky.drizzle@gmail.com for more information!

Do you guys open booths at events?
Answer: As of now, we do, but only at certain cosplay events due to our packed schedules. Do pop by our booth to chat with us regarding on your enquiries on your wigs.

Please take note that the blogshop banner and layout are still being conceptualised as of now.
